Get To Know The Dashboard

Dash

Whether you’re here because of Trophy Score, the Club Manager or Marketplace, the Anchorpoint Dashboard is your “anchorpoint” for the website – it all starts here.  Managing your profile and account, Marketplace listings, trophies, hunt clubs and access to the global forums are right here. Organized in a tidy – some may say nifty  - to make it easy to get where you’re going, so you can get back outside.

MyAccountOn the right side of your dashboard is your personal navigation. The top option covers your Account where you can edit your profile (including adding a mugshot) and your standard password maintenance.  This is also where you can add a listing to the Marketplace or edit something you’ve already posted for sale.  Pretty cool, huh? (Here’s what’s cool:  free text listings and photo listings are just five bucks – beat that eBay!)

See those little arrows to the right of My Account, My Trophies, My Clubs, and Global Forums? Clicking one will open that menu while collapse the currently open one (we told you it was nifty). We’ll get into each of these other menus in upcoming posts.

What about that big dashboard image at the top of this post? If you are in a hunt club, that’s where your club news & events appear.  Everything is all one page, right after you log in (taste the niftyness!) Your Club Manager added a work day? Let him know you’ll be there, right from the dashboard.  Club dinner coming up and they need a head count? Because Anchorpoint has the ability to handle reservations, you can reserve a couple spots for you, the wife, and kids. In more than one club? All your news, for each club, is right here.

Why did we put this much detail into a club manager? The more you’re on top of things here, the quicker you can get back out there.

Get Organized Here, So You Can Get Back Out There

Club Manager Dashboard

Having a hunt club is a great way to pool resources for leasing property, providing a weekend escape and a place to pass down traditions and share stories with friends.  Unless a club is managed properly it’s really nothing more than a mailbox in the woods where guys pass one another in the fall on their way to a deer stand.  That’s why there’s Anchorpoint: giving you the tools to manage your members and leverage online technologies to make you more efficient, giving you more time to actually enjoy the club.

The first step is to register your hunt club. There can only be one Club Manager so it is suggested that either the club leader or a designated member set this up.  Be sure to check off the species hunted in your club, amenities and provide a detailed description.  You can even upload a logo for your club!
