If you haven’t visited the iTunes App Store lately – why not?! – then you may have missed out on the new format designed to highlight screenshots of applications. The new layout focuses on giving you the best representation of what an app will look like on your iPhone, plus the larger screenshots can reveal details that separate best-in-class apps from the crowd.
For Trophy Score, that means a better look at a sample help overlay and the convenience of having the world record for your scored animal right alongside your score for easy comparison.
It’s these kinds of attention to detail that is making an impression on Trophy Score users:
WOW!!! I’ve never seen a better graphic hunting app, it’s so well put together and I love looking at the records.

Having a hunt club is a great way to pool resources for leasing property, providing a weekend escape and a place to pass down traditions and share stories with friends. Unless a club is managed properly it’s really nothing more than a mailbox in the woods where guys pass one another in the fall on their way to a deer stand. That’s why there’s Anchorpoint: giving you the tools to manage your members and leverage online technologies to make you more efficient, giving you more time to actually enjoy the club.
The first step is to register your hunt club. There can only be one Club Manager so it is suggested that either the club leader or a designated member set this up. Be sure to check off the species hunted in your club, amenities and provide a detailed description. You can even upload a logo for your club!

As hunters are grabbing a copy of Trophy Score from the iTunes App Store [iTunes link] and begin putting it to use, they are seeing the “cool” factor turn into a downright “dang that’s cool AND handy”. What are we talking about? With Trophy Score you get a free account on Anchorpoint, allowing you to synchronize your scores and have them included in the online database for comparison to hunters across the country. All the hunting magazines proudly show you the best-in-class bucks, but that’s not quite as helpful as seeing the difference a few Pope & Young, Boone & Crockett or Safari Club International points can make.
The search features on Anchorpoint lets you limit buck searches to your state, even your town. Or maybe you want to search by score, scoring method, or hunter name. Just about any way you want to search, we make it possible.
We may be biased here, but it really is fascinating to see the difference between a 120-class buck and a 140. While an 80-class may be impressive here in the South, seeing what what a few more years of growth could result in is, well, it’s a bit of a rush.
Take some time to check out the latest trophies then get your own copy of Trophy Score. We hope to see your name on the homepage footer real soon.
